The Zaļenieki Manor Hunting Lodge is an outstanding 18th century example of the Duchy of Courland’s architecture, where a significant number of important architectonic elements of the historical interior have been preserved right up until the present – stairs, wall and ceiling murals, marble tiles and parquet floors, the arched ceiling, doors and windows. There is currently an educational institution operating at the manor, where professional education programmes, including Restoration are taught. The park is an integral part of the manor ensemble, with its natural relief and reservoirs creating a romantic landscape.
