Description
The road to the Birini Manor goes along a scenic alley across the floodgate uniting two lakes. From here, a wonderful view of the neo-gothic Castle opens up. Birini Castle was built in 1860 by the grandson of count Mellin, August von Pistolkors. It is known that he was married to a niece of a rich banker from Saint Petersburg, Emilia von Herder. It is believed that his wife’s great dowry helped to increase the attractiveness of Birini manor. Today Birini Manor is a private estate, which includes a hotel and a restaurant. It offers premises for wedding ceremonies, receptions and meetings. Birini Castle building is surrounded by a beautiful park and several household buildings, such as a Watermill, a Watertower and Stables. The tours are organized to explore the history and the parks of the Manor.

Entrance to the park is available all the year from 9:00-20:00.
Due to closed events, the castle visitng tours can be limited.
